Brennas Birthday Dinner

Last year, about a week after Brenna turned 2, I noticed her change from my little baby into a toddler. This time, I noticed a few weeks before her 3rd birthday, that she started sounding different. She says things that just floor me sometimes, and of course the stubborness has increased with age. We're now approaching new stages with preschool on our minds and thinking of her interestes and what to get her involved in.

On February 9th, Brenna turned 3, and we were all sick :( So, the next day we were all feeling much better and we decided to go to Mi Amore to have some fun. We had alot of fun, ate alot of food, and won alot of tickets. Brenna loves going there to play all the games, it's usually really hard to get her to leave, but we won some good prizes so that helped. It was great because all the family was able to go. We went with Nolans parents (Nana & Grampa), my mom (Tata), uncle James, aunty Caiti, Brennas best friend Cassidy, Jess and Madelyn.

Brenna has decided her favorite color is pink, so she was really happy when she saw her Sleeping Beauty cake.

Cassidy gave her a little help with the candles, then they got to chow down. After we got home, mommy got a cake craving and decided to finish it, it was really good!

Ryans Birthday dinner

Since the kids shared a big birthday party, we had planned to have dinner with just the kids and Grandparents on their actual birthday. So, on January 19th, Ryan turned 1 and I made a really yummy roast that took FOREVER to cook in the crock pot. We ate dinner at like 8:30 at night after we had cake :) Dessert is always best first! I got this really cool stone pan from Pampered Chef a few months ago, so I made these really small cakes. I started to frost one and write on it, and I noticed I was writing too big. So I ended up frosting three just to get everything on it. At least he got his own cake which he devoured.

Police Car Fun

One of the gifts I was really excited Ryan was getting for his birthday was this Little Tikes Police Car. It was backordered so it didn't come in time for the birthday party. It arrived to Nana and Grampas house about a week after and I had to put it together right away. They have been having so much fun in this thing, if you take away all the fighting over it :)

Market Movie Theatre

Brenna got this Cherry Blossom Market for Christmas. Recently we turned it so it was facing the TV and put their chairs in it to get them out of the way. The kids have turned the market into their own movie theatre. They've never actually sat in it together until today. I was cracking up when I saw them both sitting in their chairs watching Veggie Tales. The funniest thing was the look on Brennas face when I stopped taking pictures, "Hello mom, your interrupting my movie and giving me a headache." Which she didn't actually say, but I know that's what was going through that head of hers.

Mickey Mouse Clubhouse

Last Saturday, February 7th, we had our BIG birthday party for Brenna and Ryan. It turned out amazing! The kids all had a great time and I realized I will never put myself through this again :) Ryan almost made it through the party, but he passed out and missed the Happy Birthday song, blowing out his candle, and opening his presents. The kids got so many great gifts and they are having a blast with them.
